Softball Association is dedicated
to providing girls the opportunity to play fastpitch softball
by competing at the
highest level while providing
quality instruction and promoting
individual player development, helping student athletes achieve
goals to play in college.
As student athletes Spokane Slider players will maintain a
3.0 and above GPA and participate in Community Service Activities, while competing as a 16A team in the some of the most competitive 16U exposure tournaments with opportunities to connect with college coaches.

In 2012, Coach George Lynn was inducted into the ASA Northwest Region Hall of Fame and then shortly after in 2015 received his second hall of fame honors, when he was inducted into the Washington State High School Coaches Softball Hall of Fame for his many accomplishments in coaching throughout his 22-year career.
George Lynn started coaching while stationed with the Air Force in Iceland in 1988. Twenty-two years later he had accumulated more than 700 victories with his Spokane Sliders program, from 8-U through 18-U Gold, for which he was honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Some of Georges credits have been working with the Junior Olympic Amateur Softball Association of America since 1995. In 2008 and 2009 he surpassed both 600 and 700 wins respectively, and was honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association for both ASA Travel Softball milestones. In addition, George was the head softball coach at Shadle Park High School for 10 years where he set a GSL records with a 77 game winning streak and were perennial state contenders, winning one state title, and he won more than 200 games.
In 2008, he was honored by the Washington State Coaches Association for his 200th career win. George has dedicated his life to the athletic development of young athletes and has helped over 70 athletes obtain college scholarships. George Lynn's Spokane Slider teams made 10 national tournament appearances.
